"I've worn and hand washed these pants several times since buying them. They're very soft and do not pill. I'm 5'3" and 110 lbs with a 25 inch waist and the size XS fits me very well. The pants hit around my ankles. They have both an elastic waist band and a tie, but the elastic waist band is tight enough, so I've never had to use the tie."
