Q: How do I store my cashmere?

A: We got you covered. Our items ship in their own storage bags.

As part of our sustainability efforts, we package all of our items in reusable storage bags. These environmentally conscious bags have been designed with multi-purpose use in mind, featuring a luxurious soft-touch to help prevent wrinkles and breathable vents to keep your cashmere fresh.

We don't recommend hanging your cashmere, since pure cashmere sweaters and accessories have the tendency to grow and lose shape when left to hang.
Folding your cashmere and storing in our bags also helps to prevent pilling caused by friction against woven fabrics, and averts moths from snacking on your favorite sweater! Toss a cedar ball in for extra freshness.

Q: How do I deal with pilling?

A: Every true cashmere collector owns a cashmere comb.

The fact is, pilling is a natural part of cashmere wear. Luckily, it can be prevented and cared for! Pills appear when groups of short or broken fibers tangle together in a tiny knot or ball- a pill. These can form from rubbing, abrasion or just during normal use, making the cashmere comb truly an essential.

Our favorite is the Travel Deluxe Gleener comb. We love it so much we offer it for just twelve bucks. Go on, grab one. It will change your life. Add it to your sweater purchase for free shipping.

Q: Can I wash cashmere?

A: Yes!

One of the simplest ways to minimize environmental impact is to opt for hand-washing. If you choose to hand-wash, here is what we recommend:

Step 1: Fill a basin with luke warm water and a small amount of gentle, dye-free detergent. Eco-friendly baby detergent is our favorite.
Step 2: Submerge your cashmere and gently swirl for 1 min. Then, let it soak for 5 min. Gently press your cashmere to let out excess water, be careful not to twist or stretch.
Step 3: Lay sweater flat on a thick, dry towel. Roll the towel up like a yoga mat, pressing as you go.
Step 4: Unroll and lay flat in its natural shape to air dry. Never use a dryer!
If any wrinkles remain after completely dry, use a steamer to remove.
